The Vidyagiri police have arrested Khajasab Pathan under POCSO for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in a remote locality in Dharwad.

The accused lured the minor girl to an isolated place, raped her and got a video recording of his crime done on his cell phone.

The passers-by adjoining the crime spot got suspicious after they saw the man and the minor girl coming out from a place close to the road. They caught the accused and found obscene footage on the mobile phone.

After probing the girl for some time, she spilled the beans and narrated the whole incident.

People called the police to the spot and handed the man over to them, who later framed a POCSO case against him.
